TranAm Ltd is a B2B group of businesses selling a range of clothing and accessories to retailers across the UK. TranAm originally got in touch with DSM Design to develop an online store for the TranAm brand where their customers could order their stock. However, since the original TranAm website launch back in 2015, the company has grown and divided their TranAm brand into the three new brands: BikerHeadz, SnowHeadz and Houndheadz.
With all the TranAm websites there was a strong focus on making the website for B2B purposes and not for the use of the general public.
The objective of the project was to create an online order system for UK based retailers to purchase their stock.
The system provides specific pricing for each customer when they login to order their stock. The websites connect to their internal product management/EPOS system, Catalyst, to provide a live data feed to ensure all websites and stock details stay up-to-date in real time.
There is one control panel that is used for all three websites and the multiples sites pull from one stock feed. There is also a bespoke page building system which allows TranAm to manipulate page data on the website.
The general public do not order through the websites, instead the B2C functionality allows them to view the products where they will then be directed to their closest dealer.
A bespoke dashboard was built with social media integrations, sales integrations, analytics integrations and currency integrations.
