Established in 1970, Barlow Trailers is the main Lancashire Distributor of Ifor Williams Trailers and strive to support customers with solutions from a range of leading manufacturers such as Equi-Trek, Logic ATV and Moto-Trek. Barlow Trailers pride themselves on providing customers with a sales stock of over 200 trailers and spares. With a wealth of experience, Barlow Trailers are proud to supply a vast range of products both for sale and hire as well as trailer servicing and repairs.

The Brief

DSM Design was approached by Barlow Trailers to build an ecommerce website that would help to better showcase their products and improve the brand awareness of the company.

The Solution

With the use of development, design and marketing services, we were able to build a website through our bespoke web platform, admin UI. We also integrated catalyst and included effective ecommerce solutions for the company. With Google Shopping and a Content Management System fully developed into the website, we created a coherent platform for the company to easily navigate through products and pages. As well as this, we also integrated a blog section and a full media library in the back end.

To improve the performance and generate greater brand awareness for the company, we implemented various marketing strategies for the company. This included:

Landing pages for campaigns
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Redirection tool plugin
txt file to control access of URLs on search engines
